Sex And Abi Dhabi

Ok, so in my last post you might have guessed, I was very excited about seeing Sex And The City II.

I am a huge fan of Sex And The City, watched it for years, again and again like so many of you, but the new movie just didn’t do it for me. Dont get me wrong, I’d watch it again and again, the clothes are to die for, the girls are gorgeous but the story line was (how can I put this) Crap. I didn’t read any reviews about the film because it’s just personal opinion at the end of the day and this is just my personal opinion. Samantha steals the show, you just can’t wait to hear what comes out of her mouth next, it just didn’t have that sparkle like the first film. A good storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and gets you thinking, Sex And The City II lacked this, it was a bit silly at times and nothing really happened. Bring back the City, I would loved to have seen the girls walking around New York, shopping, brunching, bitching like the good ole days, but I would still definitely advise to go see it.

Heres some pictures of Carrie and Bigs apartment, from Habitually Chic.

So the last film ended with the fab apartment, but unfortunately Carrie and Big had to move a few floors down to a different apartment.

Carrie chilling out in her new apartment.

The furniture in the sitting room is simple yet stylish, some of it reminds me of the old Carrie apartment. I really like the coffee table, with the books, its like a massive tray of interesting objects.

Carries old apartment, simple lines.

Two upholster chairs overlooking the kitchen, Material is beautiful but not to sure about the kitchen.

The bedroom has a lot of rich textures, colours are subtle and compliment each other, the curtains are blue with gold tussles, dramatic, yet elegant, the bedroom is an eclectic mixture of style.

Wait till you see the hotel the girls stay in, Oh my, Abu Dhabi.

It just drips of wealth, its so over the top, never seen such wealth.

The clothes throughout the film do not disappoint, absolutely fabulous darling.

Lets Talk About Sex

YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA, Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, Mary Poppins, Good God Mighty Mouse, HALLELUJAH, It is finally here, the girls are back in town.

So looking forward to watching Sex & The City II, the clothes, the accessories, the interiors, the girls, the men and of course the sex.

Remember Carries old apartment, for years we lived in this apartment with her.

 Not forgetting the famous Closet.

Then in the film it was totally transformed, into this breath of fresh air.

This was when I fell in love with blue again.

Cant wait to see what Carrie and Mr Big have done to their new apartment.

Oh and there was Charlotte’s Classical and beautiful apartment.

Not forgetting man-eating Samantha with her blood-red Boudoir.

Then Miranda with her simple lines yet very stylish apartment.

Oh can’t wait, going tonight, so will tell you all about it tomorrow, popcorn, ice-cream, coke (em drink of coke) and lots and lots of style, what more could a girl ask for?

So, which one are you?

Flower Power

Having a bit of a dinner party and was looking for something different to decorate the table, was just going to put fresh flowers on the table but then I came across these beautiful hand crafted crochet flowers from AnnieDesign on   Etsy.

GREAT IDEA, for decorating your table or plate, this will defo impress the guests.

If I went to a dinner party and these were on my plate, I’d tried to slip them into my bag, (did I just say that out loud) love the hearts.

These are my favourite, they are like icing flowers from a cake, so elegant.

Imagine somewhere in Ireland a lady makes these beautiful flowers, taking her time and carefully crocheting each flower by hand, for us to enjoy.

Look At These Big Guys

I planted some pepper seeds last year, never thinking that they would grow in the Irish climate and look what I have now.

My only problem is now is that given that I have no experience growing peppers, I am unsure what to do with them.

Given the size of the plant that has produced these beautiful fruits, I think I might have to pick these as my first successful harvest.

Alternatively I could let them grow another bit and maybe summit giant peppers in my local strawberry festival, fabulous fruits competition.

What should I do for the sake of the plant, pick em or leave em???????????

Input or guidance from pepper experts much appreciated……….

A New Interesting Project For Maggy Moon

Heres one I wasn’t expecting. I happen to drop in to a local florist last week, when the subject of websites and blogs came up.

Glenda who owns and runs Strandfield House has been planning for some time to start blogging about her business.

I suggested that I would give her a hand to set up her blog, simply because I hate to see people getting ripped off by so-called web experts.

We agreed that I would set up a new WordPress blog for Strandfield House and show her the ropes.

Watch this space.

P.S. Strandfield House, which is located very close to the Ballymac Hotel just two minutes north of Dundalk (on the road to Carlingford) is well worth a visit for all kinds of flowers, garden and household ornaments or even simple a cup of coffee and some homemade apple pie.
